It was a short turn around and a small space to work but I'm happy with what I managed to get done! Below are a couple of my initial rough sketches that I started with focusing on the author, Karl Marlantes himself and 1 other that focused on his novel as a piece of army equipment.
They decided to go with the second idea although I did like the concept of the bullets turning into novel pages myself ;)
